What is HDR anyway?
The dynamic range of a photograph refers to the difference between the lightest light and the darkest dark captured in a scene or subject. High dynamic range (HDR) photographs maximize details within the lightest lights, darkest darks, and everything in between to reveal an incredible amount of depth and detail in each image. This is achieved by “blending” photographs taken of the same scene at different exposure levels (in our case, five) and using the best parts of each one.
In short, it’s a higher quality image achieved through an editing process.

How do I get ready for a booking?
We want your listing looking its best for picture day, so we’ve put together a comprehensive client preparation guide so that you know what and how to get ready.
In general, we want to show off a clean and tidy space that gives potential buyers an opportunity to see themselves living there. We’re happy to offer more specific guidance prior to your scheduled booking.
How many pictures will I get?
We don’t cap the number of pictures per price or square footage because we want to show off your space in however many shots it takes. We always aim to capture your property from its best angles and deliver a curated and immersive photo package that allows potential buyers to naturally flow through the property.
If you want to make sure some specific elements or amenities are captured, let us know! We’re always down to brainstorm so that your property shows its best.
Do you offer any editing enhancements?
We run all raw photos and video footage through a rigorous editing process to deliver the highest quality end products to you. Our standard editing typically addresses varying degrees of color correction, white balance adjustment, shadow and highlight enhancement, and sharpening, among other elements.
We’re also not afraid to tweak what’s above and below. Advances in editing technology allow us to replace lackluster skyscapes and lawns with more robust imagery. We usually make that call on a case-by-case basis, unless specifically requested.

What’s the difference between a Reel and a Walkthrough video?
A reel is a short highlight video of your property optimized primarily for social media marketing on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. We usually keep them short (30-90 seconds, on average) to keep viewers engaged through to the end. It’s a great marketing tool to reach untapped audiences.
A walkthrough video shows off the best parts of your home in cinematically stunning 4k, and is optimized for more traditional property and brokerage web sites. We keep these under two minutes to again keep viewers’ attention. These videos are also suitable for social media – and we’re happy to send versions with the appropriate aspect ratio for the platform you have in mind.
We love to show off your listing on Elevation Media Arizona’s web site and social media channels, but will always ask your permission before we do.
How accurate are your floor plan products?
Floor plans are a great way to give potential buyers an idea of spatial layout and utilization.
The 2D floor plan products we offer includes fixed furniture (like kitchen cabinets, vanities, bath tubs, etc.), and can even include moveable furniture for an extra cost. The accuracy of these floor plans range from 95-97% according to the processing service.
Our 3D virtual tour and floor plan products are processed and hosted by Matterport, an industry leader in 3D real estate media. These scans have an accuracy within 1-2% of true dimensions.
How will I receive my media products and how long do they take?
Once we finish the shoot at your property, we get to work editing and submitting media for proper processing.
Elevation Media Arizona uses Dropbox for all downloadable photo, video, and floor plan PDF products. We will email a link to view and download your items within 24 hours of your shoot, unless otherwise specified. We’ll also include links to end products hosted by 3rd parties like Matterport if you’ve purchased them.
